    下の文章で、says がsaid じゃないのはどうしてでしょうか?

    Discuss the story and highlight what is says about translation.

    Hi Iris, it is common to use the present tense when talking about pieces of text. This is because they can be read at any time. So, although it was written in the past, it can still be read by a new person at any time, so it “says” things to them. It is more common to use the past tense, “said” to describe a real person who said something out loud. Hope this helps!
